The Beach!

We took Olivia last year and she enjoyed it but nothing like this time. She was a maniac all she wanted to do was be in the water, (the VERY cold water). She went crazy every time a wave would come it was a blast, I recommend a beach trip to anyone with a toddler who loves water, they go nuts. She had her first REAL tantrum at the beach every time we would take her out of the water she would scream "NO" and start kicking. The second we would put her down she would dart back toward the water full speed ahead. (see video)

It was a little scary for me that she had NO fear whatsoever of the water. We had to move as far back as possible from the water so she would relax and sit on the towel and play with her toys...(Olivia's had this perplexed look, I can tell she was thinking, my toys can go in the sand???) She then discovered sand, at first she just played in it with her feet, then her hands, then she went nuts and started throwing it in the air, it was too cute. (see Video).

We had such a great day at the beach the only thing I wish we had more time to do on our trip was hang out there more. Even though we stayed on the beach we only actually spent one day down at the water.

After we left the beach and headed back to our condo, Olivia was so tired she just wanted to cuddle up with me which I love so much then we all took a REALLY long nap! It was a great day at the beach!
